respond to training collision and conduct preliminary investigation.
Complete and submit an LVMPD 393 to to their respective bureau commanders. If occurred on highway treat like normal investigation. If damage is minor and does not require vehicle to be removed from service for traffic collisions they’re exempt from reporting requirements.
Document causal factors for the damage and submit recommendations for the preventing of future collisions via interdepartmental memo to respective bureau commanders.
