Short answer on female and male reproductive parts: Need to know about eggs/ovum,
sperm/semen, approximate number of sperm in ejaculation, the menstrual process, the process of ovulation, the function of the testicles, scrotum, the ovaries and uterus, and female and male
hormones- and what they are responsible for.

A

The female reproductive system produces eggs (ova) in the ovaries. Each month, one egg is released during ovulation and travels through the fallopian tube, where it may meet sperm. The uterus is where a fertilized egg can implant and develop into a baby. The menstrual cycle is the monthly process where the lining of the uterus sheds if no fertilization occurs. The main female hormone is estrogen, which is responsible for developing female characteristics and regulating the menstrual cycle.

The male reproductive system produces sperm in the testicles, which are held in the scrotum—a sac that keeps them at the right temperature. During ejaculation, semen—a fluid containing sperm—is released, and it can contain about 100 to 300 million sperm. The main male hormone is testosterone, which is responsible for male traits and sperm production.
