A

Must be sufficient (doesn’t need to be adequate)
Must have recognised value
Must be exchanged for the promise.
Consideration may consist of a promise to not take legal action.
There is no consideration if all the promisor does or promises to do amounts to no more than that which they are already obliged to do or refrain from doing.
