To identify if certain medications have an interaction with the tear film. Explain any ocular signs and find clues about GH (if patient is taking a certain medication it helps you find out if they have a condition).

When dust enters eyes of patients wearing RGP lenses: the dust accumulates below the lenses and causes discomfort.
Relation between high VDU use and CL?
Higher the VDU reduce reduces blinking and leads to dry eyes.
Relation of CL wear and swimming?
CL wear while swimming massively increases risk of infection and should be avoided completely.
What lenses are avoided in Px that do contact sports such as rugby or martial arts?
RGP lenses are avoided
What information is required in Px that wore CL before and stopped?
- What lens and solution they used?
- What did they wear them for?
- How long ago?
- Why did they stop wearing them?
- Why do they want to start wearing them again?
- Have they ever been advised not to wear CL?
