A
- Midepigastric pain beneath the xiphoid process
- Usually occurs 2-4 hours pc

Acute pancreatitis
ss
A
-Located in left upper quadrant, or mid-epigastrium
-Commonly radiates to back
Cullens/Grey Turner spots: result from seepage of blood stained exudate from the pancreas
- Grey Turner spots-bluish flank discoloration - Cullen’s sign: bluish periumbilical discoloration

A
Mild to severe pain/tenderness in RUQ, right shoulder and scapula

coughing, choking, and cyanosis
Excessive salivation & drooling
Apnea
Increased respiratory distress after feed
