Women can vote and become MPs
Women can do any job they like

Men are more involved in childcare + home life

No most men can still earn 17% more than women for the same job
However it has improved some 1912

Traditionally the mans role was to go out to work to provide for the family
Men nowadays take a more active role in the raising of children and in the home
Men are willing to do tasks traditionally seen as womenβs work such as cooking

Traditionally the female role was to stay home and look after the children
In the world wars women took on jobs
1918: some women are allowed to vote
1945: many women wanted equality and an end to sexism
1970: womenβs given rights to equal pay
