STREAT is a hospitality-based social enterprise that aims to help homeless youth obtain stability in their jobs, living situation, and personal life. The business was established by Rebecca Scott and Dr. Kate Barrelle in 2008. They started STREAT to pursue their passion for food and coffee, and because existing businesses on the market were not structured to match their vision.
