A
  • Slow growing
  • They are surrounded by a capsule and remain compact so don’t metastasise
  • Less likely to be life threatening but can disrupt vital function of an organ
  • Cell nucleus has a normal appearance

  • Grow rapidly
  • Not surrounded by a capsule and can grow projections into tissues so do metastasise
  • More likely to be life threatening as abnormal tissues replaces regular tissue
  • Cell nucleus larger and darker
