What are the two infant attachment cycles?
Baby has need -> baby cries -> carer meets need -> trust develops.

Secure attachment, insecure avoidant attachment, and insecure resistant attachment.
What are the four main types of parenting?
Permissive control- Few rules, supports and relies on trust.
Uninvolved- few rules, no support or monitoring.
Authoritarian support- sets rules, supports and monitors.
Authoritarian control- sets rules and monitors.

What does learning through practice involve?
It involves repeating something in order to perfect something. It helps the brain establish a motor memory so it can be repeated subconsciously.
What is learning by imitation?
Copying someone in how they do things, important for people of all ages.
What is learning by trial and error?
This involves rewarding someone for doing a desired behaviour, this is done a lot by parents.
What is generalisation?
Responding similarly to similar situations.
What is discrimination (in regards to generalisation)?
Making different responses to similar situations.
What is social facilitation?
When having an audience increases someone’s performance quality.
What is de-individuation?
When an individual puts the blame of their actions on a group. This lowers responsibility and restraint on certain actions.
What is internalisation?
When an individual is persuaded to adopt someone else’s beliefs.
What is identification?
When someone changes their beliefs deliberately to fit in with someone they admire.
