The Church does allow this but states that the vicar is required to remain celibate.

This is a heavily debated issue.
The House of Bishops have told the clergy that they should carry out services of blessings of homosexual civil partnerships

No - some Christians (across the denominations) believe that civil partnerships are acceptable to the Church as they provide companionship, unity and stability.
They believe civil partnerships reflect the biblical value of equality and God’s desire to bless faithful lifelong marriages regardless of the sex of the couple

June 2015 voted to change its church law and allow same-sex marriage as it sees this as a way for a couple to be in a committed, loving relationship

That every time sex occurs there should be the possibility of a new life - God gave humans the gift of sex in order to populate the earth
