What happens if the train door control MCB trips?
Emergency brake application on whole train.
Can’t rail light on vehicle affected
No door release on that vehicle
What to do if door control MCB can not be tripped back in?
Lock doors out of use.
Move passengers if possible
Operate the TIS
Physically check all the doors are closed.
Which MCBs control the door circuits?
Train door control
Local door control 1 & 2
What’s the risk of using traction interlock in to much haste?
A more obvious fault may be missed.
