Q

Where does the Trinity fit in with the idea of monotheism?

A

Christians use water to explain how The Trinity fits in with monotheism. Just like water can take different forms (steam, ice, H2O), God can take a different way of approaching and engaging people. There is still only one God.

Q

Give two pieces of evidence which shows God is transcendent/infallible/ineffable.

A

“My ways higher than your ways my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9) This means that God’s thoughts and ways are completely above ours.
“God’s power is incomprehensible.” (Ephesians 1:18) God is completely beyond all laws of the universe, so much so that humans cannot even understand.
