What does Christianity teach about sexual relationships?
A
- Sex should only take place within marriage
- The sexual relationship between a husband and wife should be kept pure
- After death, God will judge and punish adulterers & the sexually immoral
- Some may say that sexual relationships should only occur between man and woman as the purpose of sex is to have children and same sex couples cannot do this
- Some say sexual relationships between a husband and wife are an expression of love and a way to unite the two
- Christianity is about agape (selfless) love so anyone should be able to have sexual relationships within a permanent relationship or one with intention.
