The bobo doll experiment showed the model did have an effect on the children’s behaviour as the children who were exposed to the aggressive model did follow the models this lead to show accuracy in Banduras idea as it was proven right

The experiment has been repeated with slight changes and the results gained from the repeat was similar again showing accuracy but also consistency in Banduras Idea of Social Learning Theory

• Ethical Issues due to exposing children to aggression with the understanding that they would imitate it therefore, issues concerning protection of the children from both psychological and physical harm
• With the expectation of children to attack the bobo doll the children may observe the behaviour and think they have to do the same as the aggressive model out of expectation therefore, not explaining why they actually attack the doll which questions accuracy of the idea of social learning.
