2
Q

Bergeron effect

A
  • Water vapour evaporates off of a water droplet in a cloud
  • deposits on an ice crystals
  • droplet shrinks, ice crystal grows

3
Q

Collision process

A
  • occurs after bergeron effect
  • in warm cloud
  • large particle collide with smaller ones
  • particles accumulate until they are large enough to fall as precipitation
