What’s the Stator
A
The stator doesn’t move and has three windings 120 degrees apart.
It provides a magnetic field that drives the rotating armature

A
The rotor has windings supplied via sip rings from a dc source.
The rotor created a emf which causes current to flow in the conductor bars of the rotor

A
A induction motor that harnesses electromagnetism to generate motion.

A
A generator who’s field magnets are energised by the current supplied by themselves
