Outline the causes and results of the English civil war.
The King Charles I was an excessive spender and was always asking parliament for more money, they would agree to Charles request for more taxes but only if he agreed to respect their wishes.He searches for ways to rule without parliament and he brought back ship money(ships value in money), and tunnage and poundage. Charles was angry and lead 500 soldiers to invade the House of Commons and the radicals escaped and parliament called for an army. The outcome of the civil war was that Charles got executed and was on trial for trying to overthrow himself.
Why did the industrial revolution start in Great Britain?
Britain had access to a number of natural resources such as iron and coal. The British had slot of people willing to work (labour supply). British population had grown rapidly since 1600’s. Because of new farming inventions more people needed work.
Describe how one invention led to another in the textile industry and how this eventually led to the factory age.
When inventors saw what other people were doing they caught on started to invent things to make what they do more efficient using wheels and mechanized machines. It led to the factory age because now if you had a machine like a spinning Jenny it can do the work
Of several spinners so you don’t need workers you just need a factory full of machines
