What makes up a Chromatic scale?
A
All semitones - 12 different notes, the thirteenth note being an octave above the starting note.

What are the two rules when notating the chromatic scale?
A
- Begin and end on the same letter name. Do not change the starting note enharmonically.
- No letter name may be used more than twice in a row. For example, do not write Db, D natural, D#
