How do you preview takes?
Cooking play and highlighting the take you would like to preview
How do you open a take folder?
By clicking the disclosure triangle or double-clicking the track.
How do you comp takes?
Select the comp button in the top right side of the track, Highlight the parts of each track you would like to comp.
How can you see the results of your comp track?
From the take folder menu select flatten.
How do you assign the left click tool?
Click the escape key then left click on the tool you would like to choose
How do you select the command click tool?
Press escape then hold command while clicking on the tool needed.
How do you add a fade in or a fade out to a region?
By selecting the Crossfade tool and dragging before the track begins onto the track for a fade in or at the end of the track off of the track for a fadeout. Or shift control drag with the pointer tool.
How do you add a Crossfade between regions?
By selecting the Crossfade tool and dragging between the two regions. Or shift control drag with the pointer tool.
How can you import an audio file to your project?
You can locate it and preview it in the file browser then click track it to the arrange region
When you select edit >select unused in the audio bin which files are selected?
It selects all the files currently not being used in the arrange area
How can you select a portion of an audio region?
By using the Marquette tool
What do you need to do before you can quantize an audio region?
You must turn on a flex mode In the track parameter box.
What to allows you to move an individual note inside of an audio region without moving the audio region?
The flex tool

What is an anchor used for?
The anchor is a point in the audio region that is used to snap the region to the audio grid in the arrange area.
