Where can you adjust the sample rate and bit depth?

Which settings affect the audio of a digital recording?
Sample rate and bit depth.
How do you record one or several tracks?
Record – enable the desired track or tracks and then hit the record button in the transport bar
How do you record additional audio takes?
Record over an existing audio region
What happens when you record in cycle mode?
A new take is recorded every cycle, and all of the takes are packed into the take folder
How do you punch on-the-fly?
Make sure you have enabled punch on-the-fly by going to options >audio> Punch on-the-fly. Press play and toggle the record key command (shift-r or just R)
How do you use auto punch function?
In the transport bar click the auto punch mode button. Set the position of the auto punch bar And press the record button.
Where do you adjust the I/O buffer size?
In the devices tab of audio preferences.
How do you choose the best I/O buffer size?
Choose a lower buffer size for recording ( less latency) and a higher buffer size for mixing (more CPU power)
Where do you set the recording file type?
In the general tab of audio preferences
Where do you adjust the count in?
In the toolbar click the settings button, and choose recording
Where do you adjust metronome settings?
In the toolbar click the settings button, and choose Metronome.
How can you quickly access recording and metronome settings?
Option clicking, right clicking, or clicking and holding on the record button and the metronome button
How can you hide tracks?
In the top left of the arrange window click the hide button, select hide enable for the tracks you would like to hide, press the hide button again to hide those tracks.
