Q

In good literature, characters are forced to make difficult choices. What they choose shows their values, their priorities, and their true characters.

In your opinion, what is the most important and revealing choice that Tom makes in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer? Answer in 3-5 sentences.

Your Answer:

A

I think an important decision Tom made was that he saved Muff, potter, in court. This was an important choice because Muff potter (The accused man) could have died on account of a murder he did not commit. This is why Tom’s choice was so important because without Tom stepping up in court, Muff Potter could have died, and Injun Joe could have gotten away with murder. Despite being scared about Injun Joe hurting him, Tom made the right choice.
