Steps to placing a specimen

A
  1. Add a drop of sterile water on slide
  2. Place specimen on water
  3. Place the edge of coverslip on slide so it touches the water
  4. Slowly lower coverslip to prevent forming air bubbles
  5. Ensure specimen is nicely under coverslip on slide
  6. Place slide on stage
