The space between the lens and the cornea. It is filled with aqueous humour (which is a transparent, water fluid)
Function: Aqueous humour keeps the front of the eyeball firm and helps to refract light into the pupil

A
The space behind the lens. it is filled with vitreous humour (which is a transparent, jelly-like substance)
Function: vitreous humour helps keep the eyeball firm and helps to refract light onto the retina

cornea
A
a dome shaped transparent layer continuous with the sclera. It refracts or bends light rays into the eye.
Function: The cornea causes most of the refraction of light that occurs in the eyes.
