Main systems in the human body:
Functions and Organs Involved:
- Endocrine system
- Respiratory system
- Muscular system
- Male reproductive system
- Female reproductive system
- Lymphatic system
- Nervous system
- Blood circulatory system
- Digestive system
- Urinary system
- Skeletal system
- Integumentary system
A
- The endocrine gland secretes hormones
⇒ Coordinates body activities with the nervous system - Trachea, nose, lungs and diaphragm
⇒ Exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide gases between the body and the external environment - Skeletal muscles, smooth muscles and cardiac muscles
⇒ Contracts and relaxes to produce movements in different parts of the body - Testes, prostate gland and penis
⇒ Produces sperm and male sex hormones - Ovary, uterus, Fallopian tube, vagina and cervix
⇒ Produces ovum and female sex hormones - Spleen, lymph nodes and lymph vessels.
⇒ Maintains balance of bodily fluids and prevents infectious diseases - Brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves
⇒ Detects and send information in the body, as well as coordinates body activities - Heart, artery, vein and blood capillary
⇒ Transports nutrients, respiratory gases and waste products - Mouth, oesophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, small intestine and large intestine
⇒ Digests food into a simpler form for easy absorption - Kidney, ureter, urethra and bladder
⇒ Eliminates waste products such as urea and uric acid from the body - Bone, cartilage, ligament and tendon
⇒ Supports the body, protects the internal organs and provides a base for muscle adhesion - Skin
⇒ Protects the body from physical injuries

Q
Main systems in plants:
A
The plant system is divided into:
shoot system ⮞ stems, leaves, shoots, flowers and fruits
⮞Stems and twigs are support systems that support the leaves at the vertical position to allow maximum absorption
of sunlight during photosynthesis
root system ⮞ all roots in a plant that function in absorbing water and mineral salts as well as providing support for plants
