Describe the main bony structures and bowel in a PA film of CXR and lateral X-ray.
A
- Trace the clavicles, looking for fractures, which are often incidental findings
- Spinous processes should be midline in the trachea
- Scapula present, curving to posterior to the lung
- Increased density under R hemidiaphragm, representing liver - there should be no gas underneath the right hemidiaphragm, occasionally there may be a loop of colon
- Stomach/colon in L hemidiaphragm
