A

Online advertising.
Using online advertisments to get more customers. E.g and ad will be on the top of google search when a customer uses those words keyword

Online auctions
This is where customers bid for products or services. It can reduce business costs as the owner doesn’t need a website so they won’t need technical ICT skills. They also sill not need a shop or salesroom also saving them costs

Some examples of digital communication

A

Phone calls
Ideal when an employee wants to speak to a customer or client about their purchase. E.g estate agent - talking about the house. Problems can be that there is no signal to make the call and that the customer might not be able to pick up and then the employee will have to leave a voice message that might not be listened to.

Email
It is free and there are not sending fees. They are sent very quickly unlike sending a letter. There is no set time it has to be read. Provides a printable receipt. Messages can be sent with encryption.
Problems can be that it can be sent to spam folder of in junk mail. Might delete the email without looking at it. Can be easily ignored.
