Dominion
Being in charge of something and taking care of it.
Evolution
How things change and grow over time.
Faith
What people believe is true about God and the Church.
Fallen State
When people do things that are wrong; not perfect.
Image and Likeness
Being like God in some ways.
Material Things
Stuff we own, like toys and clothes.
Mystic
A special person who sees or hears things from God.
Pre-Creation
When there was nothing at all, except for God.
Revelation
How God showed Himself to people. Christians believe Jesus is God showing Himself to us.
Scientific Truths
Facts that we can prove using science.
Steward
Someone who looks after something.
Stewardship
Taking care of things, like the Earth.
Sustainer
God, who keeps everything going.
Symbol
A picture or object that helps explain a big idea.
Symbolic
Using stories or pictures to explain something hard to understand.
Theological Truths
Things about God and how He relates to people. We can’t prove these with science, but people believe they are true.
The Tempter
Another name for the devil or the bad one.
Vision
A special message from God that someone sees.
Genesis
The beginning or start of something.
Ex Nihilo
A fancy way to say God made everything out of nothing.
Day One
God made light and darkness, day and night.
Day Two
God made the sky and the waters.
