2024 Limitations and Memory Items Flashcards
Limitation: Circle to Land Approach Maneuver
-Weather mins are above 1000ft ceiling and 3 mi vis. If Jepps are higher mins use the Jepp mins.
-Use min descent altitude of 1000 ft above airport elevation unless restricted to higher altitude in circle to land min section on approach plate.
Limitation: Max Operating Altitude
41,000 ft
Limitation: Air Systems
With engine bleed air switches ON, do not operate the air conditioning packs in HIGH for Takeoff, Approach, or Landing.
*Unless QRH specifies in non normal fire protection. (Cargo Fire/Smoke or fumes removal checklists for smoke removal)
Limitation: Anti Ice/Rain
-Holding in icing conditions with flaps extended is prohibited.
-Do not operate wing anti-ice on the ground when the OAT is above 10C.
-Do not use wing anti-ice as a substitute for ground de-icing/anti-icing and inspection procedure which are necessary to comply with operating rules.
-Do not operate the weather radar during fueling, near fuel spills, or near people.
Limitation: Electrical Power
-(NG) On the ground, limit one generator operation (engine driven) to a maximum of 215 amps.
-(MAX)Limit one generator operations (engine driven) to a maximum of 215 amps on the ground or in the air.
-Do not remove AC power from the aircraft for at least 30 seconds after IRS shutdown.
Limitation: Max EGT for ground start. (NG)
725 degrees C
Limitation: How long to operate engine after rollback, for a minimum, prior to Takeoff Thrust?
(NG) 2 minutes
(MAX) 3 minutes
Limitation: How long to operate engine near idle prior to shutdown?
(NG) 1 minute
(MAX) 3 minutes
Limitation: Reverse Thrust
Reverse thrust is for ground use only.
Limitation: APU
Max Altitude Operation
41,000 ft
Limitation: APU
Max Altitude for Electric only
41,000 ft
Limitation: APU
Max Altitude Bleed Air Only
17,000 ft
Limitation: APU
Max Altitude Bleed and Electric
10,000 ft
Limitation:
Max altitude flaps extended
20,000 ft
Limitation:
Alternate flap duty cycle limit.
One complete cycle, then 5 minutes off.
One complete cycle is movement from 0 to 15 degrees and then back to 0. The alternate flap extension switch must be in the OFF position for 15 seconds before reversing the direction of flap movement.
