What does RDR in the RMK field of a domestic FPL indicate and what restriction does it impose on coordination?
When RDR is in the RMK field or it is suspected or known there is a discrepancy between FPL route in the FDP and that known to the pilot the term “flight planned route” may not be used.
This applies to clearance issue to the aircraft and during coordination. SRC, REP PTS & ATS routes shall be used in Coordination to clearly identify the route.
May an aircraft without an operable transponder be permitted to enter TM airspace?
Under conditions:
Aircraft may continue to their destination following a transponder failure
Aircraft may continue to destination for the purpose of fixing an inoperable transponder
When may separation minima be reduced?
When visual, including composite visual separation is being applied
Between military aircraft using MIL SEP
Between aircraft in formation (with prior notice) including aircraft in distress and its escort
How can lateral separation depicted on charts as being valid up to A100, A140, F150 & F250 be used up to F450?
LAT SEPS shown as valid up to and including A100, A140, F150 & F250 may be used up to F450 provided that, where quoted distance is less than 31nm, a minimum of 31nm is used
What is the minimum vertical and horizontal separation from Restricted Danger or Military Operating areas, established for aircraft activity in VMC?
2nm horizontally and 500ft vertically (1000ft above F290)
Describe the application of R20 separation between unidentified and identified aircraft on reciprocal tracks
Identified aircraft reached separation level at least 20nm before the point at which the conflicting unidentified aircraft is expected to be established under radar control.
Only applicable in airspace where:
PSR is available and/or
ADS-B is available provided that both aircraft are displayed by ADS-B without a Flight ID Alert

Where one aircraft is being radar monitored and is in direct communication with another sector provided that:
- the aircraft being monitored has or will be under control of the affected controller or co-ord including transfer is radar ident has taken place AND
- the Radar controller is aware of the terms of the clearance AND
- the terms of clearance are acceptable to the radar controller who will ensure separation is maintained until another form of separation is established AND
- the aircraft can be released to the controller if required
- voice switch direct comms exist with the other unit
Or, where the preceding aircraft is NOT in direct communication with the Radar controller provided that separation between aircraft on approach applies.
What separation does STH have where T10 does not exist between sane track/same direction aircraft entering the DN TWR AOR?
STH shall ensure the preceding aircraft is below the following aircraft. A late release may be verbally coordinated.
What provisos apply for NS TWR to bring the EPL of flights via OMKUN directly to COORDINATE status?
NS TWR instruct the flight to maintain A100 until OMKUN
NS TWR shall enter the IFL into the FPL
What sequencing shall STH apply between RNP AR keys into NZQN
Via MOPGA = 6MIN
