What does RDR in the RMK field of a domestic FPL indicate and what restriction does it impose on coordination?

A

When RDR is in the RMK field or it is suspected or known there is a discrepancy between FPL route in the FDP and that known to the pilot the term “flight planned route” may not be used.
This applies to clearance issue to the aircraft and during coordination. SRC, REP PTS & ATS routes shall be used in Coordination to clearly identify the route.

A

Where one aircraft is being radar monitored and is in direct communication with another sector provided that:
- the aircraft being monitored has or will be under control of the affected controller or co-ord including transfer is radar ident has taken place AND
- the Radar controller is aware of the terms of the clearance AND
- the terms of clearance are acceptable to the radar controller who will ensure separation is maintained until another form of separation is established AND
- the aircraft can be released to the controller if required
- voice switch direct comms exist with the other unit

Or, where the preceding aircraft is NOT in direct communication with the Radar controller provided that separation between aircraft on approach applies.
