Intranet and extranet:
An intranet is a private, internal network that is accessible only to authorized users within an organization. it serves as a centralized hub for sharing information, resources and collaboration among employees or members of the organization.
while the extranet is the extension of an intranet that allows authorized external users to access certain parts of the internal network. it provides limited access to specific resources, information or services to external parties such as clients, partners, suppliers or customers.
- intranets are accessible only to internal users within an organization while extranets extend access to external parties in a controlled manner.
- information sharing: intranets focus on internal information sharing and collaboration among members. Extranets enable controlled sharing of information and resources with external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication beyond the organization’s boundaries.

internet browser and search engines
An internet browser, is a software that allows users to access and view websites, web pages, and other online content. it provides a graphical user interface for users to navigate the internet and interact with various web-based resources.
Search Engine:
this is a specialized software program or service that helps users find specific information on the internet. it indexes vast amounts of web pages and creates a searchable database, often referred to as an index or search index.

Give the difference between
static webpage and dynamic webpage
A static webpage is a web page that remains the same and does not change its content or appearance unless it is manually edited and updated by a web developer. this content is typically written in HTML and CSS.
A dynamic webpage is a web page that can change its content and appearance dynamically based on user interactions, input or real-time data processing. the content of the page is often generated on the server side using programming languages like PHP, Python or JavaScript.
- interactivity: static web pages do not provide interactive features or respond to user input, while dynamic webpages can incorporate interactive elements, respond to user actions and provide dynamic functionality.
- Server-Side Processing: Static webpages are served as they are without any server-side processing, while dynamic webpages require server-side processing to generate and serve dynamic content.

2. Web Browser: are software applications used to view and test web pages. they render the HTML, CSS and JavaScript code and display the visual representation of web content. and example include Google Chrome.

URL Stands for Uniform Resource Allocator. it is a string of characters that serves as the address or unique identifier for a resource on the internet. URL specifies the location of a web page, file or any other resource accessible via the internet.
