2019 2 Flashcards
Reactivity
A reactive system continually interacts with its environment and responds to changes that occur in it
Reasoning
Knowledge base with beliefs on the world
Ability to draw conclusions of current knowledge and experiences
Capacity to make plans
Learning
Is the [automatic] improvement of the performance of the agent over time.
Autonomy
- Ability to follow goals in an autonomous way, without commands from the user
- Given a vague goal, the agent must determine the best way to reach it
Proactiveness
goal-directed behaviour to proactivel pursue goals. without external
deliberative agent
Deliberative agents are focused on long term planning of actions, centered on a set of basic goals.
They agents have a sense-plan-act problem solving paradigm.
In deliberative architectures, there is an explicit symbolic model of the world.
reactive agent
Reactive agents are focused on fast reactions to changes in the environment
They rely on a behavior-based paradigm
In reactive architectures there is at most a very simple internal representation of the world
