- Provide Airway during & after surgical procedures
(craniofacial / oropharyngeal/ Laryngeal / neck diss) - Aid weaning from MV
- Facilitate suctions of secretions
Prevent aspiration or LRTI - Bypass upper airway obstruction -

Inflammation - Long term resp support
NM disorder
SC injury
