What are all units derived from?
The Seven Bass Units.
What is an Exact Number?
Numbers that are defined in a way as to where we know them to an infinite decimal number.
What is a Measured Number?
A number in which we do not know the exact number, out to infinity decimal places (as well as an Exact Number.)
How is the precision of a Measured Number conserved?
By shortening the number with the use of Significant Figures.
What are Significant Figures?
Sig Figs are the digits in a number that we actually know.
How much does a kilogram weigh?
The same as the mass of International Prototype of a Kilogram (IPK)
What decides how many numbers after the decimal you should have?
The number in the original question that has the fewest numbers after the decimal.
What does the superscript of a scientific notation mean?
How many places you move the decimal place.
What is 6.0 x 10^-4?
80.0 x 10^3?
