- DECLARING THE THIRD WEEK OF SEPTEMBER OF EVERY YEAR AS “MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY WEEK”
- WHEREAS, the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc., holds its annual convention in the third week of September for the purpose of increasing the dissemination of technical knowledge by providing interchange of information and ideas among the different medical and para-medical professional organizations with the end in view of promoting the health and well-being of the Filipino people and;
- WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper to focus public attention on the important role the medical technology profession is playing in the promotion of the people’s health;
- NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the third week of September of every year as “Medical Technology Week” under the auspices of the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc.
