Introspection
Introspection is a method of observation by an individual of his own mental status, directly and using his own memory.
Observation
Observation is a method in which an individual’s behavior is observed in the person’s natural setting by somebody other than the person herself.
The experimental method
The experimental method involves the observation of an individual’s behavior under controlled conditions by somebody other than that person himself.
Case history method
Case history method is an indept study of a person usually undertaken in a clinical setting, whereby data are gathered from many sources to understand the root of the person’s behavior.
The survey method
The survey method involves the collection of data pertaining to the self-reported attitude and behaviour of the population by using a representative random sample.
The development method
The development method involves tracing a complicated behavior back to its simple beginnings.
