Q

Differences between Mixtures and Compounds?

A

Compounds
- Atoms combined with fixed proportion
- Properties of element in the compounds are different
- Atoms are bonded together and cannot be separated by physical means

Mixtures
- Elements, compounds, mixed in any proportion
- Keep its own properties
- Elements and compounds are not bonded together / can be separated by physical means
