The following incidents are classified as modified single unit emergencies and assigned as single unit responses. Responding units would operate in the 10-20 mode while responding to these select call types. Signal 10-84 would be transmitted upon arrival.

Water leaks
Trees down (no wires, buildings or vehicles affected)
Lock-ins (no reported food on the stove or other associated emergency)
Salvage Truck
ERS no contact (2300 to 0800 hours)
The following incidents are classified as modified emergencies requiring the response of single or multiple units. Units that are assigned 1st due on the CADS/MDT shall respond in the Emergency Mode. Units other than 1st due shall respond in the 10-20 mode. All units are required to transmit signal 10-84 upon arrival at the reported location.

Odors - gas, fumes, etc., other than smoke
Sprinkler activation
Class 3 alarms – automatic, valve, manual, etc.
Electrical emergencies
Manhole emergencies
BARS – first due engine only (emergency mode)
Class E – first due engine or ladder response (emergency mode)
Class J – 0700-1900 first due engine or ladder response (emergency mode)
Class J – 1900-0700 Box assignment (first due units in emergency mode)
