فِيهِ

ظُلُمَـٰتٌۭ

darkness[es]

Question 7

وَرَعْدٌۭ

Answer 7

and thunder

Question 8

وَبَرْقٌۭ

Answer 8

and lightning

Question 9

يَجْعَلُونَ

Answer 9

They put

Question 10

أَصَـٰبِعَهُمْ

Answer 10

their fingers

Question 11

فِىٓ

Answer 11

in

Question 12

ءَاذَانِهِم

Answer 12

their ears

Question 13

مِّنَ

Answer 13

from

Question 14

ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ

Answer 14

the thunderclaps

Question 15

حَذَرَ

Answer 15

(in) fear (of)

Question 16

ٱلْمَوْتِ ۚ

Answer 16

[the] death

Question 17

وَٱللَّهُ

Answer 17

And Allah

Question 18

مُحِيطٌۢ

Answer 18

(is) [the One Who] encompasses

Question 19

بِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

Answer 19

the disbelievers

Question 20

أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فِيهِ ظُلُمَـٰتٌۭ وَرَعْدٌۭ وَبَرْقٌۭ يَجْعَلُونَ أَصَـٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِم مِّنَ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ حَذَرَ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ مُحِيطٌۢ بِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

Answer 20

Or ˹those caught in˺ a rainstorm from the sky with darkness, thunder, and lightning. They press their fingers into their ears at the sound of every thunder-clap for fear of death. And Allah encompasses the disbelievers ˹by His might˺.
