Citizenship
- A child inherits the nationality/citizenship of the parents, regardless of place of birth.

Jus Sanguinis
- Birthright citizenship/the right over citizenship.
- It bases nationality on place of birth.
Jus Soli
A term applied for abandoned child. If a child is abandoned by their parent in another country, there relatives will be given 15 days to trace the child otherwise the child will automatically be given citizenship.
Foundling
They are deemed natural-born citizens. Denying full citizenship to them is considered discriminatory.
It is when a person is a citizen of two different countries at the same time. They are recognize as a legal member of two separete sovereign states. It can be acquired through birth, marriage, or naturalization.
Dual Citizenship
It is a citizenship by marriage. Becoming a naturalised citizen by marrying an individual with citizenship.
Jus Matrimonii
Usually you have to stay for 3 years in their country.

Naturalization/Naturalized citizenship
It spells out peoples’ rights in relation to their government. It guarantees civil rights and liberties to the individual—like freedom of speech, press, and religion. It sets rules for due process of law and reserves all powers not delegated to the Federal Government to the people or the States.
