Etiology of pneumonias?

A

Typical bacteria= strepto pneumoniae.
Atypical bacterial= mycoplasma pneumoniae.
Virus= haemophilus influenza,RSV,parainfluenza

Clinical signs and symptoms of pneumonias?

A

Tachypnea, tachycardia, dyspnea
Cough with rust colour sputum
Chest pain
Hypotension, fever, lethargy
Confusion

Treatment of CAP?

A

Amoxicillin + azithromycin 1st line
8-10 days
