  • P - Pain
  • I - Infection (urine / pneumonia / cellulitis / wound etc.)
  • N - Nutrition (Hyponatraemia)
  • C - Constipation
  • H - Hydration/ Hypoxia
  • E - Endocrine + Electrolyte (urine detection), Encephalitis
  • S - Stroke/ surgery
  • M - medication (opiates / anticholinergics / steroids) and Alcohol withdrawal
  • E - Environmental changes (ITU / HDU / ward)
