  • city in deep valley - lansdown is where the level plateaus at the top - sig as this has have v little change overtime - relief is a permanent natural characteristic that shapes LD identity through scenery and views over city centre - proximity important
  • varied geology - bath stone, fuller earth deposits lead to early wool and textile industries - sig as created identity/community as all buildings have same stone and architecture
