Alphonse Gabriel Capone, better known as Al Capone, and sometimes by the nickname “Scarface”, was an American gangster and businessman who attained notoriety during the Prohibition era. Chicago gangster Al Capone was convicted of income tax evasion and later sentenced to 11 years in federal prison

A

Very bad. Kids were taken to residential schools to become like the white man. Land was taken away.

What was the King-Byng affair?

A

In 1926 a conservative charged the liberals with taking bribes from rum runners smuggling alcohol into the US. King denied this and was unapologetic. King asked Byng for help because he thought he was going to loose his coalition government. Byng refused and made this issue public. King later won the election.
