Standard Base Level Computer (SBLC)

Federal Supply Group (FSG) / Federal Supply Class (FSC)
1- Two digits of the NSN are the FSG.
2- FSG, begins with the number 10 and continues through 99.
3- FSC, is the firs four digits of the NSN.

Records personal information about the user.
User Profile Status
Used to record key information about the user’s account.
Automatic Monitoring of User Accounts
1- ILS-S automatically reviews each user account on a daily basis to ensure the users.
2- Account that have not been used within 30 days will be disabled due to inactivity.
ILS-S automated validation process works as follows:
1- The user will receive an email notifying him/her to complete the validation
2- The user’s supervisor will receive an email instructing him/her to perform a validation after the user validates the account.
3- The information Officer (IO) will receive an Alert to complete the validation.

4 digits (FSC), 2 digits (NATO), 7 digits (NIIN), letters (MMAC)
National Item Identification Number (NIIN)
Distinguishes an individual item of supply quickly and permanently from all others items.
9 numbers
What items consist of part number items, non-NSN items, NSL items, and items new to the Air Force’s stocks?
NC Non-cataloged items.
Two digits code assigned to each segment
NATO
Expendability, Recoverability, Reparability, Cost Designator (ERRCD)
is a three-position alpha/numeric code assigned to item for management purposes.
Expendability (Position 1)
X= Expendable item loses its own identity.
N= Nonexpendable item retains its own identity.
Level of Repair (Position 2)
B (User) — The item is not subject to repair and is consumed in use.
F (Field) — The item is economical to repair, but not economical to return to Depot.
D (Depot) — The item is subject to repair, but beyond the scope of field level maintenance.
Cost Category (Position 3)
The thired position indicates the cost category to which an item belongs.
