1.6 - ELECTRICAL STUFF Flashcards

1
Q

Define a sensor

A

Input devices that take signals from the environment around them e.g. Light and temperature levels and turn them into electronic signals such as current voltage and resistance

How are switches described

A

Either by the number of Polls and throws that they have or by their function. for example it’s a function for example a push to make switch makes a circuit when pressed

Q

what does a transistor have?

A

3 Lea Leeds called the base collector and the mitter. When the voltage at the base reaches approximately 0.6 V current is allowed to flow between the collector and the emitter.
