Q

How should the pipette tip be cleaned before pipetting the unknown into the 25 mL Vol Flask?

A

With Nitric Acid (HNO3)

17
Q

How should the eyedropper be cleaned before creating the 0.001M NaSCN dilution?

A

With Nitric Acid (HNO3)

18
Q

How should the eyedropper be cleaned before creating the unknown solution?

A

With Nitric Acid (HNO3)

19
Q

How should the eyedropper be cleaned before remaking any solution?

A

With Nitric Acid (HNO3)

20
Q

How to prime French Square Bottles before putting any solution of any kind in them?

A

Prime with whatever solution that is about to go in.

21
Q

How to prime any Cuvettes before adding in any solution?

A

Prime with whatever solution will be going in it.

22
Q

How to solve for the unknown diluted?

A

M1V1=M2V2

23
Q

How to solve for the unknown undiluted?

A

y=mx+b from graph is used.

Absorbance= 4032 x (concentration) +0.0151

Substitute the unknown Absorbance that you find for the Absorbance in the equation.

Then solve for concentration.

24
Q

How to calcultate the Molarity of SNC- in the graph?

A

Use M1V1=M2V2. M1 and V1 will be the NaSCN and its respective mL. M2 will be what is needed to be found and V2 is the total amount of volume ( every mL added up) which will be around 25 mL
