The conditional allows speakers to express possible outcomes or actions in response to events. To form the conditional, add the following endings to the infinitive. Notice that all verbs take the same endings.

Irregular verbs have the same stems in the conditional as they do in the future tense. The endings are the same as those for regular verbs.

I wouldn’t take that pill without talking with a doctor.

Me dijo que estaría en la sala de emergencias.

The conditional form of haber is habría. REmember that there is only one form of the verb regardless of whether it is followed by a singular or plural noun.
