Gambling Disorder
Persistent gambling characterized by 4 symptoms in a 12 month period

- Detoxification
- Anti-anxiety, Antidepressants
- Antagonist Drugs
- Methadone Maintenance Programs
- Self-Help Programs
Motivational Interviewing
Interviewing of SUDs patients to try to create problem awareness and motivate change in behavior
Substance
Any product that has psychoactive effects
The third and most extreme symptom of withdrawl
Delirium tremens
Abstinence Violation Effect
A tendency to relapse and attribute the relapse to the self and thus paves the way to increased use
