abiotic and biotic factors
A
Biotic factors are living things within an ecosystem; animals, and bacteria.
while abiotic are non-living components; such as water, soil and atmosphere.

trophic levels and food chains
A
Organisms in food webs are grouped into categories called trophic levels. Roughly speaking, these levels are divided into producers (first trophic level), consumers, and decomposers (last trophic level).
