Criminal damage greater than £5,000 = either-way.
The court can aggregate the value of multiple charges of criminal damage to reach £5,001.
Value = cost of replacement or repair.

“Low-value shoplifting” means an offence under section 1 of the Theft Act 1968 in circumstances where—
(a) the value of the stolen goods does not exceed £200,
